"Bridal quality" and "casual quality."
These two products are usually displayed on separate shelves in stores.
◎ Bridal quality
0.3 carat: from 300,000 yen
Diamond quality (4C) indicated, dazzling sparkle, perfect for bridal
◎Casual quality
0.3 carat: from 50,000 yen
The 4Cs may not be displayed, or only some of the stones may have the brilliance expected for the price. Recycled diamonds for everyday use may be used.
◎There is no middle class <br data-mce-fragment="1">If we divide it into two broad categories like this, there are people who say, "I can't afford bridal quality, but I want something a little better than casual quality." Bridal tends to demand the highest quality, while casual often uses diamonds of a quality that is clearly inferior in brilliance. These two extremes mean that there is almost no jewelry sold in the middle class.
